Geocache Description:

Cache is in a small easily found container off of Midas Ave. Should be extremely easy to find. According to the myth, King Midas found the wandering 'Silenus', a companion to the Greek Gods. As Midas approached Silenus and treated him so kindly, Silenus rewarded King Midas with the granting of a wish. King Midas decided he wanted everything he touched to be turned to pure gold and Silenus made his wish occur. Midas made everything from glasses to statues to his furniture and clothing into gold and became very popular. His greedy wish overwhelmed him and Midas became even more wealthy. But soon, Midas realized of all the tragedy that came with his greedy wish, as he almost starved to death and in some versions, even turned his own daughter into gold on accident. Eventually he begged the gods to undo the curse and they agreed, instructing Midas to bathe in the Pactolus River (in modern day Turkey). Huge congrats to Squarebottom and HenruRust for FTF
