Come hike the miles of trails that wind through the woods, stroll through the butterfly garden, and grab your fishing poles to enjoy one of the only cold water trout streams in Indiana! Cobus Creek County Park is surprisingly unknown compared to other Elkhart County parks, but is a lovely, hidden away place to spend a day with friends and family.

Bug spray is VERY, VERY strongly advised; jeans and gloves may be desired to fend off nearby foiliage and creepy crawlies, (you're in the woods, afterall!)

The park is open year-round, 9a-9p in the summer and 9a-6p in the winter. Dogs and bicycles are both welcome on the trails. There are also public restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables and grills, a pavilion, and a small playground.

This cache has been placed with permission from the Elkhart County Parks Department. Permit on file.
