Geocache Description:

A straightforward Meet and Greet event in St George's Market, get International Geocaching Day off to a great start with some hearty chat and breakfast (optional). You'll even get a free souvenir (if this is your first find of the day!)

The event will take place from 9am - 9:30am at St George's Market in the main seating area in front of El Toro Grill (the one with the metal tables not picnic tables). There are several entrances into the market, I have marked the closest one to the event location as a trailhead. Official finishing time is 9:30, after which you can stay on and chat (and past experience tells us that most do), peruse what the market has to offer or whatever takes your fancy. There are no access nor age restrictions so all are welcome, if you are a visitor in our fair city you are more than welcome to join. There's even free Wifi for you to log your attendance! A free shuttle bus operates from Royal Avenue to and from the market, timetable can be found here

International Geocaching Day
The third Saturday in August is International Geocaching Day, no better day to celebrate all things geocaching. This will be the third year in a row we have hosted a breakfast event on this day and the souvenir's already been confirmed so you're guaranteed to get something out of it :)

St George's Market
St George’s Market was built between 1890 and 1896 and is one of Belfast’s oldest attractions. Weekly markets are held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, there is no obligation to make a purchase to access or participate in the event.
