This cache is dedicated to Old Shaggy! This shagbark hickory has got to be one of the largest, oldest and most impressive tree of it's kind in the region. It even has it's own chapter in the book titled "Big Trees of New Hampshire". I've been coming to Adam's Point since going to UNH in 2013, which is when my buddies and I endearingly dubbed it as Old Shaggy.
The cache itself is further away; Old Shaggy wanted my to put it in a secluded location. If you visit him first, you'll want to journey along the coastal trail going west before heading off the trail. The coordinates I've chosen won't put you on top of the cache, but some scouting around should lead you to a nifty hiding spot approved by Old Shaggy himself!
