This is our first attempt at hiding a cache after so much fun as a family finding them over the past 12 months. The cache is located in a beautiful public cemetary on the outskirts of Magherafelt. The cemetary facilitates the burial of people from all sides of the community and is split into three sections with a Protestant, catholic and inter-denominational all located in the upper part of the park. The park is also widely used as an exercise venue for the local community and is popular with walkers, runners, dog walkers, children learning to ride bikes etc... and is a very peaceful and beautiful area to spend time in. There are numerous benches and picnic tables located within the park which are widely used by the public and young families. The park also hosts a Junior Park Run event at 9.30 each Sunday morning were between 100-150 four to fourteen year olds complete a 2km run and have their times chipped and recorded in the most friendly of sporting events. The cache is a medium size tab lock box containing a log book, pen, and a few swaps as these are the caches our own children most enjoy finding.
