Established in 1846 Warren Cemetery is one of the oldest and most historic cemeteries in Lake County. In 1841 pioneer Joseph Lamb owned hundreds of acres in the area including the land where Gurnee Mills is now located. on Charles operated a blacksmith shop, repaired farm equipment and buggies and had a woodworking shop. He also organized the first telephone system in the area, was the local undertaker and managed Warren cemetery. Do not try to retrieve this cache from Grand Ave, go into the cemetery.
