PARSNIP LOOP Traditional Cache

These two lakes are a good source of trout, bass, and bluegill, with an occasional catfish thrown in for good measure. You'll almost for sure see osprey here, many times a bald eagle, and often pelican. You may also see free-range cattle munching their way along across the lake. It's the sort of place that's really fun to take a kid who hasn't done much fishing, because the little bluegill are voracious feeders (seem to prefer worms of any sort, according to my personal research) and it's not hard to get a kid excited when his bobber takes off all by itself right in front of him. If you take a child to hunt this cache, please DO NOT access from the road side. Walking to the shoulder of the road thru the trees is the safest route. (Cache is not at the sign). This is a no-swag cache since there's already one nearby. Happy hunting!
