To celebrate International Geocaching Day we thought we'd hold an event near to where tin and arsenic was produced. In an area of outstanding natural beauty - we live and work and play!
The National Trust have given permission for us to gather here and it's hoped that the weather will be good enough on the day to allow you explore the Arsenic labyrinth and to find some caches as well. Dolphins and seals, choughs and birds of prey are often spotted here. Bring binoculars and a camera.
Meet up at 3:00pm. It's hoped that there will be an opportunity for a group stroll at 3:30pm to find out a bit more about the fascinating history of tin mining at this former industrial site. Please wear suitable walking shoes.
Drinks and snacks available from the nearby cafe.
Camping is available nearby but not on site. Please contact us for suggestions. There is a Tramper for hire at this NT site should you wish to book it.
