Geocache Description:

THERE IS NOTHING AT THE POSTED COORDINATES SO I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND GOING THERE. All containers have Rite in the Rain log sheets. When stopping please try not to interfere with the flow of traffic.

I remember how much I enjoyed watching the original Star Trek series when I was younger. Over the years I have continued to watch the various Star Trek series and movies and I have many favourite episodes and movies. This series of puzzles relates only to the 79 episodes of the original series not including the pilot episode.

Episode 23 - A Taste of Armageddon

In this episode, the Enterprise travels to Eminiar VII, bringing Ambassador Robert Fox to establish diplomatic relations. Little is known about Eminiar VII, beyond the fact that they have been at war with a neighboring planet, Vendikar. Nearing Eminiar VII, the Enterprise receives a message from the planet warning them not to approach, but the naive Ambassador Fox orders Kirk to proceed. Kirk, Spock, and additional security personnel beam down to the planet, where they are met by representatives Mea 3 and Anan 7. During a supposed attack by Vendikar, the landing party learns that the war is conducted as a computer simulation, and that the Enterprise has been "destroyed" in the attack.
