Family friendly walk but not for pushchairs as very steep & crassy in places.
Yes it is a little way out of Wantage, but you will not be disappointed with the views of the Ridgeway, Chilterns, Abingdon and Faringdon. also in the very far distance you can see Stokenchurch mast, where the road below it was used in the opening shots of the Vicar of Dibley.
Children should enjoy this as you are looking for a little Treasure chest with real pretend treasure inside. happy hunting.
