Geocache Description:

THERE IS NOTHING AT THE POSTED COORDINATES SO I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND GOING THERE. All containers have Rite in the Rain log sheets. When stopping please try not to interfere with the flow of traffic.

I remember how much I enjoyed watching the original Star Trek series when I was younger. Over the years I have continued to watch the various Star Trek series and movies and I have many favourite episodes and movies. This series of puzzles relates only to the 79 episodes of the original series not including the pilot episode.

Episode 56 - Spock's Brain

In this episode, the Enterprise under the command of Kirk, encounters a ship of unusual design on stardate 5431.4. Upon approach, the ship emits a transfer beam and a mysterious woman appears on the Enterprise bridge. She stuns the entire crew using a bracelet-like device, then examines each of them, taking particular interest in the Spock. When the crew awakens, McCoy finds Spock lying on a bed in Sickbay with his brain surgically removed. Because of his unusual Vulcan physiology, Spock's body can be kept alive in this "brainless" state for no more than twenty-four hours, giving Kirk that much time to recover his stolen brain.
