Ghosts, Myths and Legends:
A series of "13" caches commemorating 13 years of the Doors Open Heritage Festival in the Crowsnest Pass,
Mining is a dangerous profession and too many men lost their lives working underground.
The McGillivray Mine was no exception.
Numerous men lost their lives in small and large accidents during the Mine’s operation.
Local residents and hikers have claimed to see the ghosts of those men who lost their lives still walking to and from work on the Miner’s Path.
Take a walk all the way up the path to the Falls. A beautiful and peaceful walk.
Feel a cool breeze against your arm? Maybe its one of the miners going home from his shift.
