Thanks to all who favored this cache.
This is a huge sandy beach lagoon with Natural views, Beach walking, Dog walking trails, Birdwatching, Clamming and Fishing. Access to mouth of Chimacum Creek. Access to historic site of the old Irondale Mill. Kayak launching area. Picnic table, Portable toilet.
This cache is dedicated to Donna May Cary.
Please swap swag, sign the log and returned where you found it. Please make sure the container is closed and sealed.
There is no reason to climb the log pile to find this cache, even though your kids might be tempted. The logs might rock or roll. Please keep your kids safe and happy.
Take your kids and/or dogs for a walk along the trail between the beach and the bluff toward the left side of the parking area. I would say it's approximatly 1/10th of a mile in. There is no need to climb the bluff, go into the brush or swim.
REMEMBER: This is a county park and does close at dusk. This used to be my haunt when I was a teenager and when it used to be concidered the (Log Dump), We would used the bundled logs as rafts to pole over to Kaila Point or just fish off them.
Congrats to Hwy 88 for FTF

Logging Etiquette:
Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required.
Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
