Welcome to Phoney Bone - the next in our series of caches in honour of the Bone graphic novel series! You are in Taylor Creek ravine! There is one paved path and multiple dirt paths in the area, and in a few places you'll come to a fork in the road, where you'll have to decide if you want to get your feet wet (the geokid always chooses to get his feet wet).
There are multiple entry points to the ravine depending how much of a walk you want to have (Stan Wadlow Park, Cullen Bryant Park, Taylor Creek Park, staircases from a number of nearby streets). Depending when you are here, you will need to be stealthy - but don't worry, the bikes go by quickly, and there is a lot to look at while you are waiting for muggles to move along.
You will need tweezers to extract the log, and BYOP. Please put the cache back as found. Not recommended at night.
There can be a lot of bounce in this area! You do not need to go into the creek to retrieve this cache.
**Update Sept 15 2019: The cache has been replaced. There is a lot of bounce in the area - if you are using your phone the signal may drop altogether. The pin on the map prove to be useful. I have also updated the terrain rating to better reflect what's it like right now, and updated the hints. Feel free to reach out for an additional hint!
