Come join us for an evening at Fiesta Island to celebrate the 8th Annual International Geocaching Day! Sue "The Fat Cats" probably can't host this year, but she said I could go ahead and post the event. Also, I didn't want to conflict with No H in WINE on International Geocaching Day event, so it's a little later than usual this year. But the rest of the details will stay pretty much the same.
As in past years, we'll keep it simple and just have a potluck. Please list what you'll be bringing for the potluck in your Will Attend log and I'll update the page accordingly so we can hopefully avoid too much duplication.
Date and Location: Saturday, August 18th -- Fiesta Island (NW corner of the island)
Time: 6-10 pm (Potluck: 7-8 pm, Bonfire 8-10 pm)
On the day of the event, I (or someone) will go early to the island to try to secure us a fire ring, and if I'm lucky, the coords may change. If this happens, I will post an update on the cache page. Please check the cache page the day of the event (sometime after 2:00 pm) to get the exact coords.
