Scendendo dal Castello lungo via C.Battisti si imbocca Via della Fonte e si scende verso la vallata est del paese. La suggestiva strada porta alla fonte, lavatoi e macelli, interessante esempio di questo tipo di strutture. L'insieme compatto degli edifici su un solo livello ha copertura tradizionale a falde inclinate. Architettura di gusto neoclassico arricchita dall'articolarsi di gradoni, canalizzazioni e bacini dei lavatoi.
