Someone asked me why I like to go caching. I came up with this list within 30 seconds.
1. Caching allows us to discover places that we didn't know existed.
2. I like being in parks and nature.
3. It's great to meet other cachers.
4. Caching gives us another reason to travel.
5. Caching is a fun group activity.
6. I like playing with satellites.
7. It keeps us active and outside.
8. I really like the challenges and statistics.
What does your quick list look like?
Do not attempt from the interstate. Park at the parking coordinates unless you are hiking from the low end of Holmesbrook Park. It's a great hike in a wonderful park, but the walk would increase the terrain rating. Don't leave the pen in the car since a signature on the log is required to claim the find. No night caching please. You are looking for a hanging pill bottle, not on the fence.
