Fort Wilkins Historic State Park, with the cooperation of the Fort Wilkins Natural History Association, will be holding its 12th annual Geocaching Event during the fall color season on the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula.
Registration begins at the Picnic Shelter at 9:00am, with a Luncheon and Prize Raffle to be held at 2:00pm. A lunch will be provided by Fort Wilkins Historic State Park. Reminder, due to health standards mandated by the State of Michigan, this event cannot have a potluck, as was standard in previous years. Please do not bring food to share.
The event is free, but a Michigan Recreation Passport is required to enter the park. This can be purchased upon arrival at the Contact Station.
Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment, do not rely on your cellphone as service in Copper Harbor is nonexistant.
