This cache was placed in honor of a geocaching class I am teaching to Girl Scout volunteers at a conference here at the Convention Center. I came down to scope out the caches and hide a couple. I figured this is a good place to hide one since so many people come here for conventions and may want to grab some caches close-by. It is a short walk from the Convention Center to Embarcadero Marina Park. You can rent a bike or walk along the shore and take in the beautiful port of San Diego. Take in a summer concert, go fishing, or grab a bite to eat nearby. There is a nice view of the marina right here as well. With all of the downtown skyscrapers it is easy to overlook this natural beauty.
This can be a high muggle area, so be stealthy. Metered parking can be found nearby.
