The Little Blackfoot River - Near the cache area
US Highway 10 was an east–west United States highway formed in 1926.
US 10 was one of the original long-haul highways, running from Detroit to Seattle.
It lost much of its continuity when new highways were built on top of it.
In this area, US Highway 10 followed the Little Blackfoot River.
US highway 12 has taken over most all sections of the Old Highway 10.
Old Highway 10 goes north from this cache area, which is now called Chokecherry Lane.
In about 3 miles it ends up back on the newer US Highway 12.
Look for the big turnout loop on the uphill side of the highway.
About 300 feet south of the Blackfoot River bridge.
Cache is a camoed tube about 3 inches long.
Holds only a log and a few small trade items.
Bring your own pencil or pen.
Please hide cache as found to keep muggles away.
