THIS CACHE HAS BEEN DISABLED AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR GEOCACHERS TO DETERMINE ITS LOCATION DUE TO LACK OF DATA AVAILABLE. Cache numbers FN01-FN05 have been archived at the request of the landowner on which property they had been placed. As at the beginning of March 2020, we (AnTsInRpAnTs) are looking at ways to preserve the series by finding new locations for some or all of the now missing caches.
This is a simple "Bonus" cache linked to a series of 15 other caches hidden in an area of beautiful, partially wooded, countryside a little north of the A264 between Crawley and Horsham, and a little to the west of Faygate. The terrain rating for the cache is not particularly indicative of the area in the immediate vicinity of the cache itself, rather it reflects the terrain rating of one or two of the less easily accessed caches on the circuit.
The published co-ordinates are not where this cache is located.
In order to find the cache, you will need to complete the FNnn series associated with it and collect bonus-related data from the other caches. There is redundancy built into the bonus data so that, if one or another cache is temporarily unavailable, for whatever reason, you will not be deprived of the opportunity to find this Bonus cache. Each of a 'set' of 3 caches (e.g. 1-3, 4-6 etc.) will hold the same Bonus information; so, if you forget to make a note of a bit of data or can't find a cache, no need to fret: there will be a further opportunity to collect the same information soon.
When you have collected all the information you require, you will need to substitute the numerical values associated with each of the given letters in the formula for the final co-ordinates provided below.
But first a request:PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS CACHE! ESPECIALLY WHEN REPLACING THE INNER CONTAINER ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED AND REPLACED THE LOGSHEET. PLEASE USE GENTLE PRESSURE TO REPOSITION IT.
