Geocaching Brings People Together!!
This Cache is a memorial cache placed in honor of our wedding ~ Airrooster and CrazyFrogLady are getting married in this very creek on August 18th, 2018 at 1:18 pm!! This wedding was also a Geo-Event! Check out the event here: https://coord.info/GC7NDT3
This is a fun, kid friendly geocache located in one of our favorite parks in Rathdrum, Id. HIGH muggle area so please be stealthy. Terrain consists of grass, paved trail and a bridge over the creek - may not be handicachable, but still easy terrain.
Our Story: Airrooster and CrazyFrogLady met at Martin 5's Veterans Day event in 2011. Through the years following, we became good friends, finding that we were so very much alike and that we truly enjoyed each other's company. We didn't even realize at the time that we were naturally drawn to each other at every event. We always found each other! (A fact that was pointed out by family and friends before we ever noticed...."Do you realize you and Bill are almost always standing next to each other in event photos??" "Huh?" LOL!) We gathered to visit, joke around, go off roading, and of course....go geocaching. Slowly but surely our feelings grew from friendship to close friendship.....and eventually we came to understand we were falling in love! On September 21st, 2017 we finally faced our growing love. And became the happiest either of us have ever been!! Bill IS the male version of Jen. And Jen IS the female version of Bill. Two sides of the same human mold. Finally together as one. Forever! On December 31st, 2017, Bill (AKA Airrooster) proposed marraige to Jen (AKA CrazyFrogLady) at a New Year's Geocaching Event in Spokane, Wa. (GC7F20V) It was an absolutely perfect proposal surrounded by our good friends at a fun Geo-Event!!!
Because we found our one true love through geocaching, it simply feels right to share our special day with the geocaching world!! Therefore, we made our wedding and reception a geo-event and are now placing this cache here in honor of our love!!
