This is the stream that runs along the end of Kiwi Street, in which Wildbore rinsed his photographs, to wash off the chemicals used to develop them (see page 61, “Wildbore: A photographic legacy”. It also runs alongside another phantom street - Ruru Street. This was planned to run between Kuku and Pohangina Roads (see page 47). Today you will recognise it as the mowed strip of grass to the left of the stream when looking west.
