Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Howard County Soccer Series at Covenant Park

I'm a soccer mom, through and through. I play soccer, my kids play soccer and for many years I spent every weekend and all weekend at soccer fields up and down this part of the east coast, especially when one of my sons was playing premier level soccer. I know that soccer parents have to get their players to the fields up to an hour early for warm-ups and such. I used to spend that hour either walking, jogging, talking with the other parents, entertaining younger siblings or if it was really cold, sitting in the car reading a book. I wish I was geocaching during that time, because I visited lots of parks in many different states and would have loved to spent that time grabbing caches also.

This is a very simple puzzle and soccer fans should easily guess the name of this player.

I love watching the US National Teams play and rooting for the USA.

One of my favorite US National team players who retired in 2015 holds the world record for international goals for both female and male soccer players with 184 goals. This American soccer player is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and FIFA World Cup champion. This player played in college for the Florida Gators and on 3 different professional teams including the Washington Freedom. Known for scoring goals with diving headers, a technique  learned as a youth player in their hometown of Rochester, New York, one of this player's most notable header goals occurred in the 122nd minute of the 2011 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal match against Brazil. Also this player was included on the 2015 Time 100 list as one of the most influential people in the world. What is this player's name?

A = Number of letters in the player's actual first name or the nickname used most commonly for this player (shortened form of middle name)

B = Number of letters in the player's last name

C  = A + 2

D = B + 2

E = B - A - 3

F = A x 2

G = B - A

Final coordinates: N 39 14.BCD W 76 52.EFG

Checksum: A + B = 11

Cache can hold small trackables and small trade items

*** Congrats to liveanimals - future soccer parent for FTF ***
