2008 to 2018
It was 31st October 2008 when my good friends Eurochamps asked if I had heard of Geocaching and announced there was one placed on the footpath 0.1m from my house!
The very next day I signed up for an account - though I didn't find my first Geocache until 5 days later. 
the rest, as they say, is history.
I may not be the most prolific cacher in the North West but even after all this time, it is still the first thing I think about when visiting somewhere new and it is very rare for me to leave the house without my GPS. 
I'm not one to pass up the opportunity for a celebration / tea at the pub with a couple of pints of the fizzy stuff and what better way to celebrate than with my caching buddies.. without you placing and maintaining caches, I couldn't have reached this milestone.
You are all cordially invited to The Fieldfare, Foxhole Road, Chorley - for a bite to eat and a pint or two of whatever tickles your fancy or just enjoy some geochat with other like-minded folk who enjoy hunting for Tupperware in the woods
There may even be CAKE!
The event will start at 18:30 and is expected to last until 20:30 - but of course everyone is free to stay as long as they want - or at least until the pub closes
There will be a short quiz on the night and a chance to win a prize if you make it into the top 3 for a place on the podium. Even if you don't win the quiz - all entries will go into a draw for the chance to log FTF on the event.
In order to assist the venue with their planning, please mention in your Will Attend log how many total attendees in your party and whether you are likely to want food.
