As a teenager I plowed many of the fields in the Snohomish valley. I spent daylight to dark, earning my $1 and hour. Of course movies were a quarter and a big candy bar was a nickel back then. There are beautiful views along this road. Many try to use it to bypass the traffic on Hiway 9 and subsequently the road can become congested during peak traffic.
