Join us at The Millennium Green, North Hykeham for a C.I.T.O
Millennium Green is a public open space of approximately 41.28 acres with its predominant feature being a large lake around which is a mile long footpath.
It is situated behind the playing fields on Newark Road, North Hykeham and can be accessed by parking in the Memorial Hall Car Park on Newark Road, North Hykeham LN6 9RY. The area was acquired in 2000 for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages and abilities.
We will assemble at the given co-ordinates at 10 am on Saturday 1st September and the CITO will finish at 11.00 am.
We will have a small number of litter pickers available on the day as well as bin bags and gloves. However, if you own a litter picker it would help a great deal if you could bring it along.
Well behaved dogs and children are welcome but you are responsible for their care.
The plan is to walk the one mile path round the lake picking up litter.
There will be a first aid kit available if needed.
All attendees must 'sign in' at the start of the event as there will be a roll call at the end.
