I always love to go walking in S.J. Stovall park with my brother/geocaching buddy HeyJulesBT. There is a horse trail around the edge of the park (although I have rarely seen them) so keep an eye out. But, we almost ALWAYS see some kind of interesting critters on the other side of the fence here! My brother constantly BARKS at any of them on television EVERY time he see them, because they seem about my size or smaller. Here, in person, he sees how LARGE they really are and respectfully keeps his mouth SHUT! The cache is less than 0.2 miles from the parking lot, but feel free to enjoy the walking path here; it is about 1.25 miles all the way around. You can stay on the concrete path until the last 100 feet or so to the cache.
The container is a camo taped, 30oz. sized, wide mouth water bottle with room for small trade items.
The gated park's posted hours are 5AM - 10PM daily
The cache is NOT on the fence, so NO need to go near the critters.
