Geocache Description:


Colonial Nature Trail Park   (originally GCPHBN placed in 2005 if this looked familiar, it is) Well maintained trails in the town of Sherman, Connecticut. The town of Sherman is named after Roger Sherman, the only founding father to have signed all 4 of these great papers: the Continental Association, The Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. The trail system runs from the Town Park to Colonial Park. These lat/lon coord (N41 34.472 W73 29.920) are for where you park. Look for the map stations...there are 2. Title says it all. Cache is an ammo can. Cache is NOT above rock face. You don’t need to rock climb to get to spot! The trails can be busy during soccer season or summertime in general as it is used by kids as a path from town beach to soccer fields. Well stocked kids cache. Travel bug friendly....ALSO---everything is ziplocked for integrity and cleaniness, please seal up can and zip bags closed..Have fun!
