Geocache Description:

Welcome to my adopted home and one of the most populous cities in the world, Seoul, Korea.

Seoul Station has been the first stop for many travelers for more than 100 years and it is still the largest transportation hub in the city. Here at Seoul Station you can witness the hustle and bustle of Korean city life. You can watch people of all types walk by here and intermingle with each other. The rich and the poor alike use the transportation services offered here starting with the four subway lines branchning out from here and the hundred or so bus routes. You can also hitch a ride on a train here from the slower passenger trains to the KTX bullet trains and go anywhere in South Korea in less than a few hours. On average 100,000 passenges go in and out of Seoul Station with many more just passing through on their way to their destinations.

Within walking distance are some of the most historic places in the city like Namdaemoon Market and Sungnyemoon Gate. Walking a little bit further leads you to Gwanghwamoon Square with City Hall, Deokso Palace, Gyeunghui Palace, Gyungbok Palace, and Chungye Stream all located closeby. Welcome to Seoul and enjoy your stay in the city that all of us ROK geocachers love. Make sure to stop by one of our events while you're here or send a message if you need some advice on where to go. Thanks for visiting Seoul.
