A small village founded in 1856, Neustadt is known for its picturesque streets, the Neustadt Springs Brewery and as the birthplace of the 13th Prime Minister of Canada - John Diefenbaker, whose house is located on nearby Barbara St.
This cache is located not far from the Meux Creek, which runs through Neustadt Lions Park.
Enter the Neustadt Lions Park off of David Winkler Parkway. A parking lot, playground and picnic shelter are conveniently located nearby. A scenic trail on the west side of the creek is worth a short detour.
