Coming through this section of the Interstate recently, I found the usual summer conditions: road construction underway, traffic down to 1 lane, and the speed limit significantly reduced. I was behind 4 big rigs (one a double), 1 RV, & 2 truck-camper combos and they were having a slow go of it up the incline at 35 mph. It was hot and I felt the road frustrations rising, so I pulled over into this pullout spot to wait for the big boys to make it over the hill.
While I was waiting I noticed I had this cache in the car and, being one to always try to find a silver lining, decided to place the cache here. (I am really good at "making lemonade" and "making hay".) In no time I had found a nice shady place to put this cache.
Hiding this cache made my wait pass very nicely and fully took my mind off any road frustrations and I went on my way with a smile (and less traffic in front of me).
This pullout is just a few feet past mile marker 208.
