A geocache placed on the Wales Coastal Path and on the edge of the National Trust property, Plas Yn Rhiw. The Wales Coastal Path passes through the Plas Yn Rhiw estate. Plas Yn Rhiw is a restored manor house with ornamental gardens. However, the best thing are the amazing views over Porth Neigwl (Hell's mouth) and, on a good clear day, as far as Cardigan Bay.
Whilst this is a National Trust property, most of the grounds and the surrounding hillside woods can be visited for free. There is a charge (for non National Trust members) to visit the house. The toilets and teashop can be visited for free.
There is some parking very close to GZ, but this is for disabled badge holders only. General car parking is available in the National Trust car park, which is around 250 metres from GZ off the "main" coastal road.
The GC is a small plastic tub, with room for very small swaps and trackables. Please replace as found and add leaves/sticks to camouflage as needed.
Placed with the kind permission of the National Trust and Plas Yn Rhiw property manager
