This is a series my son and I put together because this trail just needed it. There are 7 geocaches between Larkspur Park and Bear Creek road.
The Larkspur Trail begins in Larkspur Park, site of the Bend Senior Center. This lovely stretch of trail meanders along open canal for some parts of the trail. Walkers, hikers and joggers can see wildlife, juniper trees, rabbit brush and alpine current. Dog stations are at each end of the trail. The trail goes as far as Pilot Butte State Park. This geocache series for now, though ends at Bear Creek Road.
This 6th cache in the series might be a great place to have a seat and take a break in the shade as you might be ready for one if you started at Larkspur park. This container is large enough for some small swag and is loaded with some neat things for early finders to trade with. Please hide as you found it as this is a high traffic area.
