Après une promenade sur un sentier dans les bois, nous arrivons au lieu-dit «Redoute de parfonru». Vous pouvez toujours voir une forme encerclée dans le sol qui nous rappelle un bâtiment de défense français. Une redoute est un type spécifique de fortification. L'endroit vous offre une belle vue sur la Semois. Lorsque nous avons placé la cache, elle était remplie d’un journal de bord et d’un bracelet. Si vous souhaitez prendre l'un de ces objets, veuillez laisser quelque chose d'autre pour le prochain chercheur. Veuillez mentionner que ceci est votre journal de la recherche. Vous pouvez également décider de descendre la colline et de profiter des berges de la Semois. Il y a une jolie petite plage à l'endroit où la crique se fond dans la rivière.

After a walk on a path into the woods, along a small creek, you arrive at a place called “Redoute de parfonru”. You can still see a circled shape in the ground that reminds us of a French defense building. A redoute is a specific kind of fortification. The place gives you a nice view of La Semois.
When we placed the cache, it was filled with a log book, a bracelet, and two tiny toys. If you wish to take one of these items, please leave something else for the next finder. Please mention this is your log of the find.
You can also decide to climb down the hill and enjoy the banks of La Semois. There is a nice little beach on the place where the creek merges into the river.

Na een wandeling langs een beek komt u op een plek genaamd “Redoute de parfondu”. Een redoute is een specifiek soort fortificatie. De cirkel in de grond herinnert aan een verdedigingswerk van de Fransen. Vanaf hier heeft u een fraai uitzicht over La Semois.
Toen we de cache plaatsten, bevatte deze een armbandje en twee kleine speelfiguurtjes. Als u hier iets van wilt meenemen, dan graag een leuk ander voorwerp voor de volgende vinder achterlaten. Vermeld dit svp in het log van uw vondst.
U kunt overigens ook nog even naar beneden klimmen. Op de plek waar het beekje uitmondt in de rivier is een leuk strandje.
