This cache was hidden in a tree on the trail on the S end of Jumping Pound ridge.
Brendan714 and I were out on our second evening hike in the general area to grab a few new hides hidden by prolific cachers who had been exploring the BVP series. This time we were on the very southern end of Jumping Pound Ridge where we encountered a bit of a gap in the sequence and identified a good little spot to hide a cache... so we did.
From the parking location at Canyon Creek (E), there is an old track that heads across the meadow before climbing into the trees and the ridge beyond. The cache is hidden in a tree on the trail. Please rehide as found to protect from wildlife and muggles. We did leave a pencil, but please being a pen just in case.
Remember you are in bear country. Be bear smart, travel in groups and carry bear spray.
