Geocache Description:

DO NOT Release the Kraken
... is a letterbox in a series of kayak caches along the Patuxent River.
It is NOT located at the posted coordinates.
From the Wooton's Landing canoe/kayak launch, project 1841 feet at a bearing of 2.5 degrees to locate the Kraken's home. Or just consult the map and use your noggin.
Included in this cache are some fun swag items, an unregistered Kraken trackable, a logbook, a pen, and a rubber stamp and ink pad. Please leave the stamp and the ink pad in the container. You know the drill. You WILL need to disembark from your choice of flotation device, so be prepared!

When you find it, DO NOT release it!

The Details
Click below for information on the three launch points.
Two require that you call for lock combos so PLEASE read carefully before setting out! All launches are from dawn to dusk.

Queen Anne Canoe Launch~~ Wooton's Landing~~ Patuxent Wetland Park
~~~~~~~~~~
While placing these caches, river otters were spotted between #26 and #27. May you be so fortunate.
High tide would make this easier.
High tide doesn't last forever.
