Geocache Description:

Stealth is required. RIT is an open campus and visitors are able to park in any designated visitor space or general parking space not restricted by signs for other users. For more details on parking, see here.

This cache is near my apartment at Perkins Green, one of RIT's several apartment/townhouse complexes.

Perkins Road and the Perkins Apartment Complex are named in honor of Charles Perkins, who was one of the original founders and who served as the first vice president of the Rochester Athenaeum, one of RIT's predecessors. He had the honor of delivering the newly formed Institute's first opening address on July 20th, 1829 (What's in a Name? - RIT).
