The seventh "Runcorn Ferry" steak night event.
All right, then', said Father, 'let me tak' the boat,
And I'll pick up the others half-way.
I'll row them across, and I'll bring the boat back,
And thruppence in t'bargain I'll pay'.
T'were money for nothing. Ted answered: 'Right-ho',
And Father got hold of the sculls.
With the sharp end of boat towards middle of stream,
He were there in a couple of pulls.
A chance to meet up and have a chat with fellow cachers.
The event is at the Ferry Boat pub (Wetherspoons) in Runcorn from 7pm until 10 o'clock. Little lads and lasses under the age of 18 are allowed in the pub until 8.30 (or a bit later if they're still eating).
A no-frills event, with no raffles or games, just chat.
It's steak night at the pub. No purchase is necessary though.
If you log a "will attend", please can you confirm how many people it is for, so that enough space can be set aside for us.
