Geocache Description:


Charles Thomas "Stompin' Tom" Connors, OC (February 9, 1936 – March 6, 2013) was a beloved Canadian country and folk singer-songwriter. Connors is credited with writing more than 300 songs and has released four dozen albums, with total sales of nearly 4 million copies. He grew up in the Maritimes and after leaving home at an early age, he made a name for himself in Timmins, Ontario. He went on to become a Canadian Icon, writing songs about Canada and her people, and he toured the country extensively. He is buried nearby, in Erin, Ontario.
