The Quoile Pondage was created in 1957 by the construction of a tidal barrier to prevent flooding in the Downpatrick area. Soon after the barrier was built, plants and trees colonised the former seashore.
Plenty of nice paths.
There's a castle and Wildlife centre not too far away. There are lots of Picnic tables nearby. It's usually pretty quiet.
What's not to like?

There was a Geocache in this area, now archived, and I felt it needed another.
It would be real easy to put a nice big Cache full of swaps and a huge logbook to write an essay about your adventures whilst finding it.
Too easy in fact.
So.
It's a Micro, verging on a Nano and tucked away I hope, nice and safely.
As usual, no need to pull and haul at anything. The gentle persuasive unhurried approach will, as in most areas of life, be more than adequate. (I brewed up and had a nice cup of Coffee in the wee carpark when I was hiding it!)
If you adopt a similar approach on returning the Cache, and return it in the same way you found it, everyone will be happy, especially the next Cacher.
