Geocache Description:

smileyThanks to all who favored this cachewink

This is a huge sandy beach lagoon with Natural views, Beach walking, Dog walking trails, Birdwatching, Clamming and Fishing. Access to mouth of Chimacum Creek. Access to historic site of the old Irondale Mill. Kayak launching area. Picnic table, Portable toilet.

The cache is in a round coffee container. Please swap swag, sign the log and returned where you found it. Please make sure the container is closed and sealed. I will replace the container with an official Geocaching large Snap Lock container
Use your magic of invisibility and bring your own writing wand.

Take your kids and/or dogs for a walk along the trail between the beach and the bluff toward the left side of the parking area. I would say it's approximately 1/10th of a mile in. There is no need to climb the bluff, go into the brush or swim.

REMEMBER: This is a county park and does close at dusk.

Logging Etiquette:

Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required.

Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
