Greetings SoCal Cachers!
I am pretty new to this area. I moved here just last week to finish my Career block at the nearby CIP. I am trying to keep up my yearly streak and potentially complete the Los Angeles County Quadrangle Challenge. To introduce myself I figured I'd place a geocache here. I try to add some sort of creativity to it so this ones gonna be easy to spot. It's not nearly as simple to retrieve. This is just to start out. Hopefully I'll brainstorm some other ideas sometime in the not so distant future.
I'd like to go to some nearby Geo Events and meet some of the Basin cachers in the area. It would also be nice to go caching with some locals and there are even some students in our program who have expressed interests in Geocaching.
I live just a short walk away so if you need help or can't seem to retrieve this one, messege me through Geocaching and if I'm home I'll meet you.
This one is hidden about 70 feet up in a tall tree and can only be retrieved using a grabber TOTT. It can be obtained by going up to the top floor of the parking structure. The top floor is usually deserted so muggles shouldn't be a major problem. I walk by this parking structure every day so maintaining shouldn't be a problem.
Starting off with a 1/4.5. High quality hook or grabber arm is required and PLEASE Don't drop it!
