Geocache Description:


We lost a good friend to the local geocaching community this week – Robespierre50 (Bob Beardsley) has unexpectedly passed away. Geocaching was a real passion of his since my father (geoguru1) introduced him to it in 2010. Bob was fun, energetic and adventurous – he completed many difficult geocaching quests (D/T matrix, “every day”, geography, etc). Many of you have probably crossed paths with him at some point and will understand that this is a sad and terrible event. It will be great for us to get together in a fun setting to remember him and share stories.

His other passion was fly fishing, which I only learned about recently.

We’ll visit at Lone Tree Brewing from 1:00 to 4:00 on Saturday September 22nd. Just go in the front door and turn to your right into the “party room” area – we’ll have a couple tables set up with some snacks and some trackables to discover.
