This community garden is out of place with the apartment buildings, luxury condos, and massive high school it shares the street with. At one time, these abandoned lots were slated to be another high-rise. About 10 years ago, some members of the community were able to secure funding to keep this space green and create the garden. The same organization has partnered with the school district to create an "Urban Farm" on school grounds on Hazel St. nearby.
There is street parking available on Early and Atno Ave. There is also public parking available if you enter on Prospect St. If you have 2 people and one can stay in the car, then you can attempt to park in front of the bollard in the garden driveway.
Congrats to CacheMoneyHustlas for the FTF!
