[RO] Satul Fericet se află la o distanță de 3 km de Horea. În acest sat s-a născut unul, din conducătorii răscoalei țărănești din Transilvania, Horea (Vasile Nicola Ursu) (1731-1785). La marginea satului se află casa memorială, o căsuță din lemn, în care s-a amenajat un mic muzeu.Casa în care s-a născut Horea numai există, acolo a fost ridicat în 1934 un obelisc, pe care se poate citi cu anul nașterii (1730), anul când a fost prins (1784), și anul când a fost tras pe roată (1785). Obeliscul a fost dezvelit în anul 1934, iar bustul lui Horea, din fața muzeului, realizat de sculptorul Romulus Ladea în 1967. Lângă casa memorială există un frasin bătrân, despre care se spune că a fost plantat chiar de Horea. În orice caz Frasinul lui Horea a rămas în istorie precum Gorunul lui Horea de la Țebea.
