Geocache Description:


Magnetic Micro cache.

Mill Hill Park was part of Daws Farm, thought to refer to Thomas Daws who lived in the area in the 14th century. It was bought by Hendon Urban District Council in 1923 and opened to the public the following year. The London Borough of Barnet was formed in 1965 and continues to manage the site as an open space and sports ground for all to enjoy.
 
Why not make a day of it? Bring a picnic and use basketball court, tennis courts or play cricket. There's huge fields to play football on, a big park for young children or older children, picnic areas and a cafe etc. There's plenty of free parking too. A perfect Geocaching location!
The cache is a bit off the beaten track, but it's not very difficult to get to - although it might be a bit muddy on rainy days!
