Al Barsha South Park, is the first park in Al Barsha South. This continues the Al Barsha Park series.
Al Barsha South is a relatively new residential development on the opposite side of Al Khail road (E44) to Al Barsha. In the last couple of years it has developed at a fast pace and has a road with nearly 10 new schools spread along it.
The park is located next to Aswaaq supermarket and was announced in March 2018 as Dubai's first Smart park. The park has been built to harness solar energy and provides elecric charging stations for electric cars. It offers 150 shaded parking spaces which all have solar panels, which can produce 260 MW per hour.
The park itself offers a lot of green areas, a 800m running track, a cycle track, shaded areas, childrens play areas and fitness equiptment.
