The area formerly known as Dubiotech was renamed last year to Dubai Science Park, as the planned development of the area restarted. Dubai Science Park is a member of the TECOM Freezones entity and is a business community in Dubai that serves the entire science sector and supports entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs as well as multinational enterprises, offering the first private laboratories in the region.
Over the last couple of years Dubai Science Park has grown into a science-focused hub with more than 350 companies employing more than 3600 in the life sciences, energy and environmental sectors.
The Headquarters expected to be finished in early 2019, will house state of the art offices and events facilities.
A new housing community was recently constructed in Dubai Science Park, Villa Lantana, which are the first free hold properties in Al Barsha.
The Science Park is expected to fill the land in the area over the coming years with multiple hoterls now in the early stages of construction, a hospital and recently the my city centre completed.
The Geocache is located in the area by one of the first buildings completed for the science park which houses offices, warehousing and a few labs.
Whilst a pencil has been placed next to the cache, it would be advisable to bring your own in-case it has gone and maybe somethign to help retrieve the log book from the cache.
