Geocaching experiences come in all varieties. This is no exception.
In truth, this should be known as "Stinky Hollow 2.0", as the original "Stinky Hollow" cache was archived after it was muggled a few years ago near Goose Pond in Keene, NH. Instead of going through the hassle of rehiding it at that location knowing it would likely meet the same fate as the first, I nested on the cache concept for awhile knowing deep in my heart that this cache was destined for resurrection at a different place. And the time in now!
I chose a very low-traffic area right on my own property to insure that the only visitors to this cache are the Geocacher sort. I also made some improvements to the design and function, so it ought to stand the test of time. Cache is hidden a very short bush-whack off the road, with a little pull-off nearby along Surry Road. Cache is not winter-friendly, so I will remove it through the cold months for preservation. Cache will be disabled from December 1st through April 30th each year.
It is vital that you rehide the cache EXACTLY as found, so as not to ruin the experience for the next Geocacher. Please don't leave any spoilers in your log, either, or I will not hesitate to delete your "Found It" log for you try again!
As always, happy caching!
